The PCC is proposing to replace our boiler, which is nearing the end of its useful life, with two new boilers and have begun the process for seeking a faculty. The requisite 28 day notices have been posted on the notice board together with more details of what is proposed.
Pulse Camp – Blacklands farm July 20–22. A weekend camp for kids in yr. 6 & up. There will lots of fun activities, movie night, games, fun Christian teaching & more. Every person has their own unique way of praying: there are no rights and wrongs. But are you still searching for a way that suits you? Looking for some help in those moments when inspiration has run dry. Perhaps you would like to know more about how to help others pray? The Diocesan Spirituality Network’s Prayer Festival takes place on Sat 22 Sept in Rochester Cathedral (10am to 2.30pm) and is all about exploring the rich tradition of Christian prayer available today. All Age Worship Service occurs at 11:00 on the 1st Sunday of each month. To date this has been very successful with attendances on average in the 50’s. It would be great to have a few committed helpers in terms of preparing refreshments/clearing them up afterwards. This entails being present between 10:50 and 12:15. If you’re interested in assisting with this worthwhile task please speak with Linda Goodwin.
URC afternoon tea on Saturday 21st July 3-5 pm. At the next summer tea hosted by St John's Church, Marsh Green, the music will be mainly folk dance music, played by Bernard on fiddle, melodeon, and viola. Anyone is welcome for any part of the time! Just turn up!
